There was a man named Nicodemus who was a Pharisee and a Jewish leader. One night he came to Jesus by night and said, “Sir, we know that God has sent you to teach us. You could not work this miracles, unless God were with you.”

Jesus replied, “I tell you for certain that you must be born from above before you see the Kingdom!”

Nicodemus asked, “How can a grown man ever be born a second time?”

Jesus answered:

I tell you for certain that before you can get into God’s Kingdom you must be born not only by water, but by the spirit. Humans give life to their children. Yet only God’s spirit can change into a child of God…

New Testament

And for certain in this life everything is Sanctum cept’ God. We entertain philosophies, ideas, creeds, religion where some thing or some is ‘holy’ but yet disagrees with what God says…

Like Nicodemus, he had a form of religion but Jesus said that the spirit is not an idea but a real gift of life and it stipulated on its own…

And we never expect to earn the spirit, cep’t by just asking God for it…
